Marriage LicenseThe Santa Fe County Clerk’s Office, 102 Grant Ave. (505) 986-6280, is two blocks west of the Plaza in downtown Santa Fe. Office hours are 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday. The County Clerk's Office is closed on all state and federal holidays. Both bride and groom must have a photo ID and $25 cash for the marriage license fee. Your marriage license can be obtained the day of your wedding, if necessary, on a weekday. The license is valid to be used within 90 days in the state of New Mexico. Your marriage license must be brought to the ceremony to be signed by two witnesses and the minister / officiate. |
